Mona Shroff Jewellery

Mona Shroff is the Lead Designer and Founder of Mona Shroff Jewellery, a long standing and Independent Brand that draws from an Indian Heritage and Global exposure to create Unique Statement pieces that can enliven a business suit as much as they accentuate the Elegance of an evening gown.

Born and brought up in Mumbai (Bombay) after receiving a Scholarship at Sophia College in Textile design, she started working for One of the Best Textile Company – Garden Silk for a few years before she moved to Hong Kong. Mona has spent last 32 years in Hong Kong as her Primary base. Taking her education in art , then combining henna for Indian brides and her family’s long association with Diamonds, Gold, Pearls, Mona started designing Jewellery in 1993 for Reputed Department stores like Selfridges, Gallerie Lafayette, and 28 Department stores in UAE for 18 years.

In 2011 Mona launched her own brand, Mona Shroff Jewellery .

Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities wear her statement pieces for their Red Carpet events including Oscars , Grammys and International Magazine cover shoots. Mona has showcased in a lot of Fashion Shows all over the World. Since 2017 Mona has been active as a Consultant on the topic of Jewellery Trends, Jewellery Design, Online and Offline Retail, Semi Precious stones, LGD particularly in Indian ( Including NRI), Chinese and South East Asian Markets.

She works regularly with a range of investment, advisory and corporate clients often through knowledge search firms including Lynk, Capvision, AlphaSights, etc. Mona has been invited to deliver a number of Master Classes around the topic of Designing, Integration into International Markets, dealing with International suppliers, PR, Styling, Colour coordination of jewellery with hair, makeup and costume, etc.

Mona regularly writes for World Fashion Media News , Red Silk Carpet ( Chicago Publication ), DailyMail24 Bangladesh fashion News, Bulvar24 Czech Republic fashion Edition, Hong Kong magazines, on subjects related to Jewellery, Fashion, Trends, and Fashion in a broader manner.

Mona is a member of the Association of Asian Jewellery Designers , Foreign Correspondents Club ( FCC ), Fringe Club , and is a mentor for students in various Fashion universities .

Mona Shroff Jewellery is sold through Multi branded stores across India, Mumbai International T2 airport , Harvey Nichols, Hong Kong airport, UAE , etc. Mona has two grown daughters and splits her time between Hong Kong and Mumbai.
